Do you have good WIFI?

We provide free fibre optic WIFI throughout the hotel property.

What time is check in and check out?

The check in is regularly at 3pm. If your room is ready earlier you can check in early, if not you can leave your stuff at the front desk office and use our pool area. Check out is at 11am – late check out upon availability, please ask for it at the front desk the day that you are leaving.

Do you include breakfast?

No, sorry, we don´t have food service, but provide coffee and drinking wáter.

Do you have a restaurant on site?

No, sorry, we don´t have a restaurant on site, but are very close to San Pancho's gastronomic offering. Ask the front desk and they will be happy to give you options.

Can my kids stay at PAL.MAR Hotel Tropical?

Yes, we accept kids of any age. Please make sure to book a room or suite with enough capacity or contact us for further information. We can provide cribs.

Can I bring my dog with me?

Sorry, we are not pet-friendly.

Can you organise transportation from the airport?

Yes, we work with a local transportation company and can help you arrange airport transportation for an extra cost. Please contact us at info@palmartropical.com

How far is the closest airport?

The closest airport is Puerto Vallarta International Airport which is a 50-60 minute drive from the hotel.

Do you have private parking?

No, sorry, we only have street parking but there are usually spaces nearby.

Is it allowed to smoke in the room or on the balcony?

Our hotel is 100% smoke-free including rooms, private terraces and common areas. Should you wish to smoke, there is an area outside the front entrance.

In case I need to cancel, do I get my money back?

We want to stay for a month. Do you have special rates for long-term?

We do offer special rates for long-term stays depending on the season and time of stay. Please check out our policies or contact us at info@palmartropical.com

Do all your rooms include kitchens?

All our suites have either a fully equipped kitchen or a small kitchenette. The classic rooms don´t have a kitchen, however they have a small fridge and a coffee-maker.

How far is it to the beach?

We are three small blocks away from the beach, so it´s less than a five minute walk.

Do you have ocean-views?

No, sorry, no room or suite has an ocean-view.

Is the pool heated?

Yes, our pool is solar heated.

Is there a hairdryer in the room?

Yes, we have a hairdryer in every room. Ironing boards are available upon request at the front desk.

Do you offer yoga classes?

We do not offer yoga classes at the moment, but there is a yoga studio right next door. You can also use the chillout palapa for doing yoga practice or any other exercise on your own.

Is it safe to travel to Mexico and San Pancho?

San Pancho is a very small and easy-going town with a tourism based economy. The town and its surroundings are safe, nevertheless you should not leave your valuables in sight when you are at the beach. All our rooms are equipped with a small safe so you can leave your valuables.

Would you recommend renting a car?

It all depends on your needs and interests, as well as the length of stay. It´s easy to rent a car, you can even rent one in San Pancho for part time of your stay spontaneously. If you want to explore surrounding beaches, chase the best waves, visit Puerto Vallarta or towns further north, we would definitely recommend a car. If you want to be mostly in San Pancho itself and maybe make a short trip to Sayulita or La Lancha, it´s easy to get around with taxis or shuttles. Or we can help you to rent a golf cart for moving in town.

What do you do to be eco-friendly?

We try to reduce one-use-plastic using refillable and biodegradable cleaning products and amenities. Also, we use solar heaters for the hot water system, supported with electric heating to guarantee a 24 hours supply of hot water, also on colder, cloudy days. We also provide water filters for drinking water to reduce plastic bottles and support local community projects.
