The jungle has its own magic and it´s simply beautiful to contemplate the big trees, lianas and diverse flora; with a bit of luck you might even see some wild jungle habitants.

There are several jungle hikes in the area which you can explore either by your own or with a guide. Easily walk to Sayulita directly from the hotel or take a longer tour and enjoy the outstanding views over surrounding jungle and beaches from the top of the Monkey Mountain. 

Discover the jungle and beach landscapes by horse, getting connected to nature and enjoy a romantic time while contemplating an amazing sunset.

We offer different options for horseback riding, you can enjoy it either at San Pancho beach, starting directly at the hotel or take a bit longer trip to discover virgin beaches after riding through the jungle. 

From easy trails to challenging tours, you can do pretty much everything what your mountain biker heart desires.

There are some trails right in between San Pancho and Sayulita, towards Playa del Barro or even in the upper and colder mountains. Either rent a bike or book a tour and discover the jungle with wheels and your own energy. 

Fun for the whole family! Enjoy the jungle from above. Close to Sayulita you can have the outstanding experience of zip lining on a 2 km network through the jungle with canopy lines and suspension bridges.

Adrenalin rush and fun are guaranteed - a must do for those who like it high up!

Riviera Nayarit is located on the migratory path of hundreds of birds, it is the perfect place to observe and recognise many species. The existence of a great variety of habitat, long stretches of beaches, estuaries surrounded by mangroves, lagoons, rivers and many types of vegetation makes the best landscape for our encounter with the birds. Recommended for those who enjoy seeing the birds in freedom in their natural environment.

You can either book a guided walk through a botanical garden very close to San Pancho or discover another one about 45 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta. For nature lovers there is no better way to get to know the diversity of Nayarits jungle flora, observing orquideas, butterflies, insects and a big variety of plants.

Also a crocodile sanctuary is a great experience, especially for those who bring little explorer with them.
